Aojie Optical anti-fog functional optical lenses combine many years of fog-free production expertise with advanced automated production. Firstly the lens gets PVD vacuum-coated, then a self-developed AJ-6302 nanohydrophilic anti-fog coating is applied on an already coated lens surface. The anti-fog coating functions via the principle of lowering the surface tension between water and the lens so that the condensed water vapor rather than creating scattering fog is spread uniformly to result in a transparent thin water layer, thus giving very long fog-free time even from the earliest days of use.

The anti-fog coating is directly applied to the PVD vacuum-coated lens surface, highly compatible with the multi-layer optical coating system without damaging the original coating structure and optical performance. The treatment process does not change the substrate hardness, fully retaining the basic physical properties and optical quality of the lens while adding anti-fog functionality.

1.Prescription and Frame Adaptation — All aspects of lenses such as sphere, cylinder, axis, Addition (ADD), and prism customization are provided. After measuring several factors related to your eyes like pupillary distance (PD), frame wrap angle, pupil height, pantoscopic tilt and vertex distance, each such order is handled with individual calculations made based on the specific features and measurements.
2. Material and Refractive Index Choices — Various optical substrate is available such as PC, nylon, e.t.c. In regards to refractive index, you can go for any of the following 1.56, 1.60 or 1.67.
3. Coating Features and Functions — Besides AR which stands for Anti-Reflective and is a mandatory one for lenses, blue light filtering, anti-reflective and anti-fog properties can be added to lenses. In addition, mirror (i.e., reflective), antibacterial coatings as well as hard (6-8H) coatings — these can all be customized accordingly.
4.Tinting & Polarization Customization — There are solid tint and gradient tint in different colors; adjustment of photochromic tint (speed and depth) can be done; in the case of polarization you can achieve ≥90% glare reduction.

FAQ
Aojie anti-fog lenses utilize a professional hydrophilic nano coating.
